PHYSICAL THERAPY

Knee Pain

Are you suffering from a knee injury or debilitating knee arthritis? Are you hoping to avoid injections or surgery? If so, we are here to help. Our physical therapists are experienced in treating all kinds of knee injuries and will help you return to your desired activity level without invasive treatments.

Shoulder Pain

Shoulder pain is debilitating. Most people with shoulder pain have difficulty sleeping and find it hard to do the most basic daily tasks, like dressing, showering, driving etc. Don’t let shoulder pain limit your life. Our physical therapists are here to get you back to doing the things you need and want to do...without pain.

Lower Back Pain

Lower back pain can be a game changer. You may have difficulty sitting at a desk or walking down the street. You may even have pain just standing in one place. Sometimes the pain travels down the leg or you may have numbness or tingling. The first step to healing is identifying the root cause of your pain. Our physical therapists are trained to do this. We then create a treatment plan specifically for you to help you recover without medications, injections or surgery.

Neck and Headache

Imagine trying to drive a car without turning your head. Or having a conversation with someone sitting next to you without being able to turn your head. These would be very difficult...if not impossible. Living life with neck pain is difficult and often results in not doing the things you love to do. Don’t suffer unnecessarily. Our skilled physical therapists will identify the cause of your neck pain and develop a plan specifically to help relieve your symptoms and get you back to living your life...uninterrupted by neck pain..

Osteoporosis

Bone density loss is so common yet doesn’t actually cause pain. It does however put you at high risk for serious injury from a fall. This can even happen during a “minor” fall...such as from a chair. It can also cause changes in your posture. The right exercises can help improve your posture and balance, as well as your bone health. The wrong exercises can put you at even greater risk of serious injury. Don’t let osteoporosis hold you back. Consult with our expert team of physical therapists and exercise specialists to learn which exercises are right for you...and which ones to avoid.

Balance

As we age our balance worsens. This is the natural way of things but there is much you can do to change that. With a proper balance training program you can improve your balance and get over the fears that prevent you from doing all the things you want to do. Don’t change your lifestyle because of a fear of falling. Our staff are highly trained in balance therapy for the aging population and create unique and comprehensive exercise programs based on your current activity level and your ultimate goals. These programs often involve many factors such as strength training, mobility training, computerized balance testing and training and and postural education/training. Going thru this program will alleviate your fear of falling and get you on track to do all the things you want or need to do.

Difficulty Walking

Has your walking slowed down recently? Are you finding it harder and harder to walk distances? Do you now find it easier to walk with a cane or walker? If so, you are also at a higher risk of falling...which is bad. Don’t accept this as a part of aging. If you can walk...you can also improve your walking with the right training and exercise.
